Dear colleagues and fellow researchers,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the upcoming 59th meeting of the Society for Low Temperature Biology, to be held in the beautiful city of Vigo, Spain on September 20-22, 2023.

This conference promises to be an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas with fellow experts in the field of low temperature biology. With a diverse range of topics to be covered, including cryopreservation, cold adaptation, and many others, this conference will provide a unique platform for researchers to share their latest findings and collaborate with one another.

In addition to the scientific program, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the city of Vigo, which is known for its rich history and stunning natural beauty. There will also be ample opportunities to network with colleagues, both during the conference and at social events.

We invite you to register for the conference and submit your abstracts for presentation. The abstract submission deadline is June 1, 2023, so be sure to submit your work in a timely manner. Registration and abstract submission links can be found below, as well as the information about Audrie Smith travel award and Photo competition. Later you will find here the detailed information on the conference schedule, keynote speakers, and much more.

For those of you traveling to Vigo from afar, we have prepared a leaflet with detailed information on how to get to the conference venue, including recommended travel routes and accommodation options. The leaflet also contains other details about the conference.

Don’t hesitate to contact us in case of questions: vigosltb@gmail.com.
