CRYO2018 registration open and abstract deadline approaching 26th March 2018

CRYO2018, the 55th Annual Meeting of the Society for Cryobiology, will be held July 10-13 in Madrid,  at the Spanish National Research Council, one of the largest research institutes in Europe. The theme of the meeting is ‘Scientific Challenges of Cryobiology’.

Held over four days, the meeting will feature five plenary speakers and more than 25 invited speakers from around the world, in addition to a full program of submitted abstract oral and poster presentations covering all aspects of cryobiology – from human and animal cells, to plant preservation, to cryosurgery, to food technology, and much more.

If you have a little time to spare, art, culture, science, and sport lovers will all find fantastic attractions nearby, including Spain’s Natural History Museum, right next door to CRYO2018, and world renowned Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home to superstar football team, Real Madrid, just a short walk away.

Students
Students are eligible for free membership to the Society for Cryobiology and can enter the student awards and travel grant program which provides financial assistance to students. Last year the Society for Cryobiology awarded over $10,000 to students from around the world to attend the meeting and present their research. Applications close March 26.
